Learn this advanced paddling technique and feel your confidence grow. Classes are non-sequential, and we strive for one-on-one instruction. For all skill levels. There is plenty of time to practice what you already know or what you have just learned.

It's important to know what to do out on the water. We are ACA-certified instructors, and our mission is to teach you how to enjoy your boat safely. While you learn the mechanics of paddling, you'll get to try different boats to see how well each fits you. Class size is kept small so advanced registration is required.

L-1 Quick Start to Kayaking
Chautauqua Lake
Mondays 5pm-8pm
Alternate Saturdays 8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Students are presented with basic attire, water safety, and paddle techniques. 3 hours.

Fee: $55 group lesson (max 5 paddlers) $75 private 3 hr lesson

L-1 Intro to Kayaking
Chautauqua Lake
Alternate Saturdays 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

This course is designed as an in-depth look at strokes, attire, and safety paractices, including wet exits and rescues. 6 hours.

Fee: $75 group lesson (max 5 paddlers) $95 private lesson

L-1 Intro to Stand-up Paddleboarding
Chautauqua Lake
Alternate Saturdays 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Students are introduced to sufficient skills and knowledge so that they can begin to enjoy sport of SUPing. 2 hours.

Fee: $30 group lesson (max 5 paddlers) $50 private lesson

Open Water Clinics
Barcelona Beach
By appointment

Learn more advanced strokes, surfing, and rescues in a big water setting. Paddlers must have some kayak experience to take this class. Classes will be tailored to lake conditions.

Fee: $55 group lesson (max 4 paddlers) $75 private 3 hr lesson

Advanced Strokes, Braces & Rescues

Work on your forward stroke. Learn braces, sculling, and edging. Advanced rescues and towing are also covered.
