By Mark Freeman
Price $20.00

From the publisher:

For white water and flat water enthusiasts alike: a guide that describes 80 of the best paddle trips in western and central New York State.

Detailed route descriptions cover:

  • Launch sites and how to get to them
  • Scenery and points of special interest
  • Difficulty levels
  • Special cautions
  • Paddling distances
  • Campsites and takeouts
This guide is the third in a series of guides to the canoeable water of New York State. The project had its genesis in Paul Jamieson's Adirondack Canoe Waters: North Flow, first published in 1975 and today regarded as a classic. Described in this present guide to western and central New York State are the waters in the Lake Erie, Lake Ontario, and Finger Lake drainages, and in the Allegheny River watershed and part of the Susquehanna River watershed.

The Adirondack Mountain Club is indebted to the many volunteers who provided information for this volume.
