who is evergreen outfitters?
Evergreen Outfitters is a small-town business specializing in paddle sports, hiking, camping, fishing, and car and storage racks. We are passionate about the outdoors and appreciate the opportunity to share that passion with you.
Evergreen Outfitters is owned and managed by Mike Kingsley. Mike is an Eagle Scout whose early adventures included annual wilderness canoe trips. During college he spent his summers as a guide in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, leading 10-day trips with boy scouts all summer long. In 2008, after several years in outdoor retail, he made the move home to his roots in Western New York to purchase Evergreen Outfitters and continue his mission to connect people with the outdoors.
Mike has since grown his love for kayaking and his passion for teaching through leading outings and advancing his certifications through the American Canoe Association (ACA). Mike is an ACA certified Level 3 coastal kayak instructor trainer, Level 4 coastal kayak instructor, & Level 2 Stand Up Paddle board (SUP) instructor.

Super helpful and great for our whole family!!! Would definitely recommend for kayaks and paddle boarding. Loved the way the owner taught my boys how to paddle before they went out. He was patient and all the staff was friendly and fair.
